YOUNG WOMEN IN SCIENCE BECOMES MAHLE’S KEY FOCUS

The MAHLE Schools Challenge started back in 2019 and despite the COVID interruption, has achieved the goals of generating excitement in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The success of this annual challenge would not have been possible without the significant contributions from our dedicated schools and participants.

This year we have moved the goal posts and MAHLE is focusing on that segment of the learner group that is still not represented proportionately in the STEM subjects. This means that MAHLE will be replacing the MAHLE Schools Challenge with a groundbreaking initiative – the STEM Young Women in Science Conference that is scheduled for August 2024.

The MAHLE Schools Challenge has been a flagship event, dedicated to fostering innovation and nurturing the talents of young minds. This decision to shift gears underscores MAHLE's commitment to evolving its efforts in line with the evolving landscape of STEM education.

The STEM Young Women in Science Conference aims to provide a dynamic platform for young women to explore and celebrate their passion for STEM. Scheduled for August, the conference will feature engaging workshops, insightful talks from industry experts and interactive sessions designed to empower and inspire the next generation of female leaders in STEM.

Details about the STEM Young Women in Science Conference will be communicated during the course of this year.
